A trail is three cards of the same rank—three kings, three sevens—and it ranks highest of all Teen Patti hands, beating pure sequence, sequence, colour, pair and high card.

Pure sequence is three consecutive cards of the same suit, like five-six-seven of hearts. It ranks just below trail and beats a regular sequence, which allows mixed suits.

A side bet is an optional wager that pays if your initial three cards form a specific pattern—pair-plus for any pair or better, bonus-six for certain high hands—independent of the main hand outcome.

Seen means you look at your cards before betting; blind means you bet without looking. Blind bets cost half the table stake, but once you go seen you pay the full amount for subsequent raises.

Chaal is your decision to continue the hand by matching or raising the current bet. If you chaal as a seen player, you pay double the blind stake; if you fold, you forfeit your ante.

Show is the final comparison when two players remain and one requests to reveal hands. The higher-ranking hand wins the pot; if hands tie, the player who asked for the show typically loses under house rules.
